Why be a Volunteer?

The armed services is made up of an all-volunteer force. As military members, veterans, family members and DoD Civilians we have an internal calling, an obligation, to serve others in our communities, state and country. Being a nonprofit organization, the EHH relies on the heart of that volunteerism in order to give back to the service members, their families of Selfridge Air National Guard Base and surrounding military communities. As a 501 c19 organization, the EHH can provide service hours for teens who need them. As a service member, your volunteer involvement experience can be used to enhance your career development.

You must provide the event name and the contact information for each individual. An additional form may be needed for Base access. This is not required if you already have Base Access – Such as military ID, retired military ID, or other DoD forms of ID.

NOTE: In addition to a visitor’s pass, a current and REAL ID-compliant U.S. driver’s license, current vehicle registration, and proof of vehicle insurance must be presented to Security personnel at the Selfridge ANGB main gate at the time of entrance to the event.
